We had an AWESOME experience with FYSA. It was the first time our son had played and he LOVED it. Our coach was AMAZING with each kid -- he was encouraging, fun, engaging and professional. The set-up, practices, and games were much more organized than other organizations we had played with in Charlottesville and we all looked forward to participating each week. My son cannot wait to play again and we had so much fun that my daughter HAD to sign-up to play in her age group!
FYSA has made an incredible impact in our family. The league and all the coaches within it are truly comiitted to the betterment and development of the players involved. Our children have been invovled in the FYSA league for three years, and I, honestly, cannot say enough good things about this organization. It has helped our children become strong, independent, cooperative, hard workers both on and off the field. The league is run without error and supports one goal; to have happy players.

FYSA has been instrumental in my children's growth and development. Not only are they refining skills athletically, they are also learning important social-emotional skills, such as effective communication, teamwork, and perseverance. The coaches are knowledgeable, positive, and extremely patient and attentive to the needs of the children. We couldn't ask for better role models! At the end of each season, my children not only have fun but are also left with positive relationships and self-confidence that will last a lifetime.

We had our son enrolled in FYSA every year for the last nine years. It's been a great experience and an excellent way for him to burn off all that excess boy energy while learning team skills, camaraderie, and sportsmanship. I especially recommend joining a travel team!

The FYSA organization is wonderful group, committed to the development of the kids participating in all their programs. I must admit that I was hesitant at first to make the change from rec to travel team for my son. I was concerned the time and financial committment would be too great. However, we found that only half the games require travel away, and those are within an hour. There is also a lot of fundraising done to ease the financial burden. The greatest benefit of being an FYSA family is that my son is playing with friends from our local community. They are learning and growing together; developing into our future Flucos!!
